Look for the kind of truck that you want to get. There are those with a roll back and those that have a lift. It is not the same as a boom lift, but a smaller lift can also come in handy. Roll backs are ideal for smaller cars, but if you plan on towing just about anything, then you might want to consider getting one. After you know what kind of truck you want, then start searching online and at dealerships. You might find a better deal from a business that is closing or one that is getting a new truck. This can save you a good bit of money instead of purchasing something brand new. Take the truck for a test drive so that you can see how it handles. Some companies will offer a warranty on the trucks sold, but there are some where you have to ask for a warranty. If one is offered, you need to find out what is covered. Look at all of the fluids and the brake system. Make sure all of the parts that operate the towing system work as well.
