Japan is a highly advanced country and very often what becomes popular there, becomes popular in other parts of the world such as North American or Europe. That is why keeping a close eye on recent developments in Japan is a wise choice, especially for those interested in technology. One of the recent trends that are emerging there is the increased popularity of green cars. Japan understands the problems associated with regular vehicles and they are trying to implement more eco-friendly cars such as powered hybrids, electric cars, and fuel-cell. Hybrid cars may be especially popular, and I believe that the Western world will also benefit from more eco-friendly cars; however, it might be a little bit later in the future.
