We are need cars in our daily lives. We need them to be able to drive our kids to school, we need them to get to a supermarket for our weekly shop, we need them to go to restaurants, etc. When public transportation is not reliable in your area, all you can think of is how much you need to have a car. And this is what I have been thinking about for a long time recently. The public transportation here is not reliable at all. During winter months, you can spend even up to 50 minutes standing on a bus stop. Even tracking information is not reliable yet with many buses not being tracked the way they should be. If this is the case, only an affordable car is an option.
It turns out that you can buy many used cars under 10000 provided that you know where to look for them. Used car dealerships are your best bet as this is where you can find hundreds of cars for sale at some very affordable prices. Sometimes you would be surprised how affordable some cars can be and that those who sell them might be selling their cars for a lot less than they should.
The type of car you will want to choose will determine what car you get eventually. If you are a seasoned driver you will probably not mind having an older car that has served somebody for longer. This is a cheaper option as low mileage cars are usually more expensive. On the other hand, if you are new to driving you will certainly appreciate a car that is rather newer as it will be easier for you to learn to drive in a car that is new as opposed to driving in a car that has served somebody to longer. The car you choose ultimately should provide a good balance between the price and between the comfort you could achieve with the right car. You would be surprised how much you can get at the right price and that having a good car at a good price does not have to be a luxury anymore.
